Caper Lemon Dill Compound Butter
A bright, tangy and herbaceous butter—delightful when served over slow-roasted salmon or crisp green beans.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Vital Farms Salted Butter, room temperature
- Zest of 1 large lemon
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
Instructions
- Add the butter, lemon zest, capers, and dill to a medium bowl and using a fork, wooden spoon, or rubber spatula, mash mixture together until fully incorporated.
- Transfer mixture to a piece of parchment or wax paper and shape into a rough log. Roll it up and twist both ends tightly to compact the mixture.
- Refrigerate until firm. Then, slice and enjoy.
