DIY Spreadable Butter

A simple, tasty way to turn our grass-fed butter into a luxuriously creamy topping for your bread.

Makes 2 cups


  • 1 cup Vital Farms Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt


  • Add the butter, avocado oil, and salt to a food processor and process until smooth and completely homogenous, about 1 minute.
  • Transfer to a jar and place in the fridge to firm up. When it’s firm, it’s ready to use on whatever you’d like. For best results, store in the fridge.
