Yes, early birds across the globe have taken to plopping creamy pats of butter into their morning joe, and while this may initially sound crazy, when you consider the benefits – increased energy, sharper focus, satiated appetite, fuel for fat-burning – it’s actually crazy awesome.
One small catch: the butter’s gotta be better, which means it comes from happy, pasture-roaming cows. Ours is all that and more, with an 85% butterfat content that renders it the tastiest, creamiest, most delectable butter you’ve ever tasted. Start out with this simple base recipe and spice it up from there with all your faves.
- 8-12 oz brewed coffee
- 1 tbsp Vital Farms Pasture-Raised Butter
- 1 tbsp MCT oil (We swear by Onnit brand.)
Blend all ingredients in a blender until frothy + enjoy! You can even add your favorite spices like cinnamon or vanilla bean, or blend in a touch of maple syrup for a little sweetness.
