Soft Boiled

Saucepan / water / Egg

The ultimate comfort food.

  1. Start with cold eggs in cold water.
  2. Once boiling, cook for 6 ½ minutes.
  3. Transfer to cold water for 2 minutes.
  4. Peel and enjoy.

Crispy Fried

Skillet / Ghee / Egg

Where Vital Farms butter really shines.

  1. Swirl butter (or ghee) in skillet over medium heat.
  2. Turn heat to low and cook until the yolk firms up and the whites start to sizzle, browning slightly.
  3. Serve.

Poached

Saucepan / water / vinegar / salt / Egg

You can do this. Promise.

  1. Fill pot with 5–6” water, 1 Tbsp. of white vinegar and a pinch of salt.
  2. Bring water to a low boil.
  3. Crack fresh egg into small bowl, pour egg gently into boiling water.
  4. Cook for three minutes. Rescue with slotted spoon.
