Maple Bacon Compound Butter

Makes 16 servings


  • 1 cup Vital Farms Salted Butter, room temperature
  • 4 pieces bacon, cooked, cooled and finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup, room temperature


  • Add the butter, bacon, and maple syrup to a medium bowl. Using a fork, wooden spoon, or rubber spatula, mash mixture together until everything is fully incorporated.
  • Transfer mixture to a piece of parchment or wax paper and shape into a rough log. Roll it up and twist both ends tightly to compact the mixture.
  • Refrigerate until firm. Then, slice and enjoy.
