The Perfect Snack Plate

More of a formula than an exact recipe, with just a few of your favorite bites, this snack plate comes together in a snap!

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients  

  • 2 Vital Farms Eggs
  • flaky salt
  • pepper
  • tinned fish such as sardines, mackerel, or salmon
  • your favorite crackers or bread
  • veggies such as tomatoes, sliced watermelon radish, and cucumbers
  • sliced cheese such as manchego, gouda, or sharp cheddar
  • cured meat such as salami, summer sausage, or ham
  • pickled items such as olives, pickles, or pepperoncinis
  • condiment or spread such as grainy mustard, fig jam, or honey

Instructions 

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil then gently add in the eggs using a slotted spoon. Turn heat down to medium so the water is simmering but no longer at a rapid boil and cook eggs for 8 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, prepare an ice bath by filling a large bowl with ice and water. When done, remove the eggs with a slotted spoon and transfer to the ice bath. Set aside to cool.
  • When ready to assemble your plate, peel and slice the eggs in half and season with flaky salt and pepper. Add the rest of your snacks of choice and enjoy!
