BLT

A crispy, buttery BLT with fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, and garlic mayo on toasted bread—simple and delicious.

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients  

  • Bread of choice, toasted
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • 1 bunch of Romaine Lettuce
  • 1 tablespoon homemade garlic mayo
  • ½ tablespoon Vital Farms Butter, softened
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Arrange bacon in a single layer on a foil lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain.
  • Toast bread to your liking.
  • While still warm, butter each slice of bread with Vital Farms butter.
  • Spread homemade garlic mayo on each slice of bread.
  • Layer lettuce, bacon, and tomato on one side of bread.
  • Top tomatoes with salt & pepper.
  • Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread, garlic mayo side down.
  • Cut BLT in half and enjoy
