Fantastic French Toast

Not a lot of things better than breakfast disguising itself as dessert. If you’ve ever had french toast, you understand its sweet delight but the secret in this recipe is in the flour. Most people will dredge the toast in the simple egg mixture but by adding flour, you’re getting a thicker consistency. And even better than that, by adding Vital Farms eggs you’re getting all the right nutrients for a wholesome breakfast. Add some fresh berries on top of the toast and some butter/syrup for a little decadence.

  1. Measure flour into a large mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the milk. Whisk in the salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract and sugar until smooth.
  2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Soak bread slices in mixture until saturated. Cook bread on each side until golden brown. Serve hot.
