Our experience with pasture raising began when Matt was a young lad selling fresh farm eggs door-to-door in New England.  More recently, our Onion Creek farm in Austin, TX has been the ideal place to refine our methodology.

While much of the agriculture industry has migrated away from small scale operations, the Vital Farms model has be successful on a small scale.  Outside of our home farm in Austin, our supply base is made up of independent farmers who are passionate about raising quality food, and who understand that our core farming principles make our eggs special.
