Organic Certification

For organic certification, we process with Nature’s International Certification (NICS).

NICS is accredited by the USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP) for assessing organic producers’ (including crops, wild crops and livestock operations) abilities to implement, comply and carry out the terms and conditions determined for organic management and products via the NOP rules and regulations.

Certified Humane

Vital Farms has been certified as a producer of Certified Humane Raised and Handled® eggs by Humane Farm Animal care.  HFAC is the leading non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of farm animals in food production.

Cornucopia Institute: 5-Egg Rating

The Cornucopia Institute is a leading non-profit, independent proponent of organic, authentic food.
